Tea Tree Oil – Nature’s Wizard for Perfect Skin & So Much More

Acne. This is maybe one of the most traumatic, and unfortunately, one of the most common skin condition in the world, that affects almost 90% of people at some point in their lives. It is true that that there are lots of products that can help you tackle this issue, but most of them can leave your skin dried out and itchy. For years, people have been struggling with acne, and tea tree oil is surely among the several remedies that work wonders. It is one of the most reliable natural acne treatment that can treat acne just as effectively as benzoyl peroxide while causing no side effects. It is directly extracted from a tree native to Australia, and its highly effective acne treating aspect has made it a popular addition to face washes, creams, face gels, and lotions.

Note: Some people find tea tree oil too irritating, so if you have sensitive skin, you can dilute it with warm water before applying.

Tea Tree Oil Treats Acne

Dilute several drops of tea tree pure essential oil with fifty drops of witch hazel. Voila! Your natural acne treatment is ready to use. Apply directly on the skin with a sterile cotton swab twice a day.

Tea Tree Oil can Treat Chicken Pox

All you need to do is blend few drops of tea tree pure essential oil with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Apply it on a cotton swab and gently apply to sores 2-3 times a day.

Tea Tree Oil as Makeup Remover

Tea tree oil can also help you safely remove makeup without the use of harsh chemicals. Just mix 1/4 cup canola oil with 10 drops of tea tree oil in a sterilized glass jar, and shake well until blended. Once done, apply it on a cotton ball/swab and gently wipe off your makeup. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and apply the usual face moisturizer.

Note: Store it in cool and dark place. Shake before use.

Using Tea Tree Oil to Fight Foot Odor

Along with some herbs, tea tree oil is the ideal weapon against foot odor, leaving your feet fresh and clean. All you need is boil the following ingredients and pour the solution into your home foot spa or basin:

  • 10 drops of tea tree essential oil
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root or 1 teaspoon dried powdered ginger
  • 1 tablespoon dried sage
  • 4 cups water or more if needed
  • 1 tablespoon Epsom salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda

Tea Tree for Reducing Cold Sores

Take a cotton swab and directly apply tea tree oil on the cold sore several times a day.
